Education For Your Purchase
It can be very overwhelming when looking to purchase a pool table. Every showroom you walk into is filled with lovely tables and beautiful furniture, but what's good? What's bad? What do you need to stay away from? Don't worry. We can help. Normally, if you look for a few details in a pool table, you can determine if it is worth having or not.
Look for 3-piece slate pool tables. Yes, that's correct. Professional billiard tournaments are held on 3-piece slate pool tables due to their ability to be assembled perfectly level, up to seven times more level than a one-piece slate. You'll also want a framed slate pool table, which allows for the felt to be stapled down as apposed to gluing. Another key point would be solid wood rails. Laminate rails eventually peel over time and do not hold their value as well as solid wood tables.
These few key points should help make your decision somewhat easier. Please feel free to contact us with any questions that you may have about a pool table purchase. Even if you're not buying from us, we don't mind helping. Buying a pool table in the Atlanta area can be a trying task, especially if you don't know what you're looking for.
